I recently participated in NaNoWriMo, a challenge to write 50,000 words during the month of November. To give you an idea of what that means, a typical young adult novel is between 80,000-100,000 words. That is A LOT of words.
Today I reached that goal, with one day to spare! A big shout out to Janelle Hanchett for sending out the challenge.
I’m loving putting down this silly Wyoming love story that has been swirling around in my head for months. My family is super into it and we have a Team Jeremy/Team Hunter battle currently raging…who will Sarah choose…I have no idea, they are both awesome…the end is still TBD.
I was working on my rough draft and found my 11 year-old daughter had written an ending for me:
“And then Sarah marries Jeremy, not Hunter. The End.”
I love it!
